The installer is the same as sarge rc2 give or take a few minor tweaks.

A significant number of Canonical employees are UK-based. I don't know what
percentage of their total staff the UK developers equate to however.

I've been impressed by the module-assistant package for handling 3rd party
modules (as packaged by Debian).

The file system layout is FHS compliant, so technically should be the same as
RH or SuSE.
