[Wylug-discuss] Procmail filters

I'm having some problems with procmail filters.  I have a number of filters 
that work exactly as expected, but a few don't.  I've tried RTFM, but in the 
first place, the documentation available gives different versions of syntax, 
though none of them seem to make any difference to my problem filters.  

All the problem ones depend on the From: line (though I have other 'froms' 
that do work).  The first of these 3 works, the other two don't:

:0:
* ^From: .*(sasktel.net|sasknet)
./Mail/Friends/Brian

:0:
* ^From: .*\Josenildo
* ^To: .*cannewilson
./Mail/Friends/Josenildo

:0:
* ^From: .*pmbuc
./Mail/Friends/Technoslick

I've tried with and without '\'.

The next one works, but the one after doesn't:

:0:
* ^From.*(savastore.com*|amazon.co.uk|maplin.co.uk|thompson-morgan.com|
serifsoftware.co.uk)
./Mail/Newsletters

:0:
* ^From: .*(revsuep|suepinnington|franceswilson|mo.frances)
./Mail/Family

Finally, from

:0:
* (^To:|^From:).*vmlinuz.ca
./Mail/TWiki_Admin

the From mails get filed, the To ones don't.

Any pointers, please?
