[Wylug-discuss] ipods

Hi,

Has anyone any experience with Ipods and Linux? Previously I have always
used usb mp3 players with Linux with no problems, but my Daughter wants
a genuine apple ipod nano 2 for Christmas. Do they require specific
"windows only" software for the copywrite protection, or is the
"compatible with" the usual windows cop out? Sorry if I am asking stupid
questions here, but I have never used one, and I don't wish to buy
another computer just to down load music, especially one running XP!
