There is Kivio.
I find for lots of stuff that dear old XFig is difficult top beat. I have
also recently used Dia sucessfully.
It is my guess that a lot depends on the similarity of the user interface that
you are used to. XFig, especially, can feel clunky at first, but once you
get used to it can be very productive.
