Subject: School pilot

Hi,

In September this year we are hoping to pilot using Edubuntu in one of
our maths classrooms. We have 16 old computers set aside each with 256mb
RAM.

Students will need be able to authenticate to our Windows 2003 domain,
access their home directories, a shared files area and print.

Additionally we are looking at making savings by installing wireless
NIC's and a couple of WAP's. Security needs to be enforced by enabling
WPA and MAC access control and it should all be transparent to our
students, ie they simply turn on the computer and can log straight in.

We are looking for assistance and support and would like to invite the
WYLUG to help us.

Many thanks

Jonathan Lees
