Did you really mean to say that Anne?

If so, could justify it?

In my view one of the most powerful arguments for a bottom-posting norm
on lists like this is that it is much more consistent with the kind of
snipping and interleaving that you advocate further on in your post,
i.e. the answer/response follows the question/assertion.

I think Mark Conmy has amply demonstrated the daftness of interleaving
when the response comes first.
