[Wylug-discuss] Book Sale

Hi

Some of you probably know me, perhaps by sight, if not by name. I have
recently relented to my wife's request/nagging and agreed to reduce the
number of books I have, which currently covers a whole wall, to just one
shelf. So I have a car boot full 200+,  on all aspects  of programming
perl,c++,c,perl,python,ruby,php etc.., systems analysis, linux
administration, web site design, web usability etc. I have made sure
that all the books are current and not donkey's years old.

I will be selling the books at the LUG meeting tonight with all proceeds
going to the WYLUG, from anywhere between 50p to £3 per book based on
condition and age. Could some people volunteer to help me carry them up
the stairs. 

I will arrive for about 6-30pm if anyone would help.

Dave Fisher has also asked me to announce that their will be a talk
tonight by Owen Le Blanc on Xen Virtualisation (from Manchester LUG).
Dave will make a proper announcement later but he's current teaching,
and wanted the word out as soon as possible.

So come along tonight (with some money) and support WYLUG.
