I know about HP and IBM. I'm just in the process of buying some new Prolient
servers to replace the ones that are in at the moment - ironic when you think
that these are the ones that they're talking about replacing when I haven't
even purchased them yet.

The support we're on about is on the software / application level.

The scenerio that was put forward was if I get run over and killed - or even
worse want to go on holiday.

The non-retail side of our sales lives on our servers.

The Web service I'm developing using Apache, PHP, Postgresql, AJAX, Javascript
and Perl controls the sales order life-cycle from Ford Factory order through
to customer delivery note confirmation for a £90M turnover business and is
reliant on me not killing myself.

Likewise, without the email service the process would grind to a halt.

The argument is that there are hundreds of companies expert in Exchange, IIS
and SQL server, but none on Apache, PHP/AJAX/Perl, Exim/Dovecot.
