I sent this to the list a couple of weeks ago (while it was down):-

I was so fed up with the difficulty of buying a computer without the MS tax,
that I started an e-petition here :-

In this case it's PC World who were awkward, but it applies to lots of
 others. I eventually bought a dell with ubuntu pre-loaded.

MS seem to be losing their grip a little.
