Coincidentally, I've just been looking for one myself and hadn't seen
this thread. I picked up a F4580 - £40 in Comet. Had it up and running
in about 10 mins in 32 bit Windows 7 and 64 bit Ubuntu.

The only thing I had to do was download the updated hplip software for
Ubuntu from the HP site
