I wonder where filesize becomes a problem. I've dealt with trimming and
rewrapping ~10Gbyte files with ProjectX on a 2.4GHz Core2Duo 2Gbyte RAM single
disk machine, and other than disk speed limiting how fast it could do the
conversion*, the interaction was entirely zippy. That was under windows, but
given ProjectX is Java, I can't believe it'd matter much.

* Since I'm doing TS -> PS with trimming and joining, there's no actually
reencoding of the data, so it's not CPU limited as you'd expect. This is
just a Freeview to DVD preprocess step.
