If you happen to have more than one "server" behind your router its a
good idea to create your own "pool" of clcoks (two will do at a pinch,
three much better as Nigel said - don't make them low stratum).  You can
them hope to keep your time-stamps synchronised on your own little island
waiting to re-sync with the world when your connection comes back!
