At the 3d PrintShow last year, I got to play with a haptic 3d mouse, which
I think is actually more useful than a 3d kinect-like device, I was very
impressed with it's feel and how it worked.

Unfortunately the only modelling software to support it was cloud9 - a
Windows-only piece of closed-source software.
I would like to see something like it that works independent of OS and at a
more reachable price.
