Thanks - interesting presentation.

Yes - Linux is very much a "given" nowadays (and Snowden's slides are really quite old now)

Ironically, though, knowing how to use *nix now seems to be used as evidence against people. See:

Interesting but the recent Top500 report says that 2003/2004 was the
year of the switch to Linux - so by 2008 I would have expected them to
be using Linux.

The most recent presentation doesn't mention Linux - just everything
that it has been possible to build on top of it:
