I can't argue with this.  Studied chemistry at Caltech in L.A. and 
earth sciences at UC Berkeley and been to a university in NYC.  Worked 
on three contracts at the Google St Ghislain data center in Belgium...

the extremely very bad management at the data centre was fairly 
typical of most American and even Russian IT organisations.  Chinese a 
lot worse.  The British IT scene is better ?  I suppose it would be if 
most of it wasn't based in the U.S.  Not much hope out there.  

Charity begins at home.  Hope follows on.
