[Wylug-discuss] Beware silly update days

ON the Wednesday I did my monthly Slackware update - it was 13:00 on 
the 13th of the month. It did not work . The server  was probably being 
updated.

 Now I have a system that probably won't boot off its own hard drive and 
has a  hard time booting off dvd an usb sticks. 

Any suggestions before I take it to the repair man?
