[Wylug-discuss] Beginners Regatta

I have been looking at the web site of the British APL society.
It seems that every so often they have a beginners regatta to encourage 
new members.
Perhaps we could do something like that ? All the regulars could come 
specially prepared with something that is announced on the web site in 
advance. 
We could choose something specially for people who are new to Linux.
 I have recently scripted up an editor to provide a simple diary to record 
my opinions and date stamp them.
