Thanks for the insights John - particularly the notes about WYLUGs
former technical bent.

I think you're right that the present WYLUG attendees and list members
should utilise WYLUG for their needs, and not necessarily follow a
prescription.
Personally, I'm very happy using it as a social medium to get together
with like minded folks and discuss Linuxy issues that are on our minds
at the time. If others take WYLUG towards a help group or doing
presentations etc. then I'll muck in when I can.
At present we do not have a venue for demos and presentations. We can
work on that if need be (I think the Lord Darcy might have rooms, or
there may be other options we can work on) - but at present I don't
feel there has been the need.
