Sounds like you have subscribed yourself to the digest version of the
list and set the delivery options to use MIME (which is an entirely
sensible choice if you want digests and have a normally capable mail
client).

However if you have a really broken email client that combination tends
not to work well.

So go to the list page at
https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/wylug-discuss
Put your email address in at the bottom - the ubsub/password/options
section - and then set your options as works for you.
