> Remember the MeetMe episodes?
Yes, however April's meeting we had two new people come along from MeetUp
and it was really good. We had a demo of a load of terminal and vim
customisation from Damian Ziobro (who has put some of his scripts up at
https://github.com/xmementoit) . We had a look at a window manager called
i3 which is a windowed tile manager https://i3wm.org/, had a look at the
Intel NUC that Graham brought in, talked to Brian about his RaspberryPi
setups - he lives in Spain most of the time and has managed to setup
Asterisk with some Pis and a SIM card reader so that people can call him on
his normal UK number and it's forwarded over the PBX to his house in spain
at no roaming fee (and then bridged to a spanish SIM if he needs it). We
went over a lot of different subjects but I didn't get the chance to write
it all up there was so much!
May's meeting (Monday 30th) the only person who went was from MeetUp - no
one from the traditional list went.
We've said at a number of meetings we should try moving into Leeds centre
to see if it attracts more people - it can't be that inconvenient for you?
It's a 15 minute drive rather than a 5 minute drive, and there are plenty
of places where parking is free in the evening.
