Be careful with Raspberry Pi's though.

They breed :-)

What I will say though is that if you're going to do this, use a powered USB 
hub to run it as the Pi can't power an external HDD.

I've used this setup to run my OwnCloud for ages now without issues (other 
than being cracked)
