As a bit of a new departure for wylug, I thought that I might post a summary
of what was discussed at the meeting, on the mailing list.
So here goes:-

We started the meeting with the usual cordiality and the production of
laptops. I was shown what python looks like and I showed some dlang in return.
Someone new turned up, hello mate.
Then there was a discussion of laptops. Mine is perfect in every way :-)
A new, to me, networking protocol was next, BGP,(Border Gateway Protocol)
which, as its name suggests, is a way for network gateways to negotiate
connections between each other over the internet.
On that theme there is a new ISP to be launched especially for gamers
specialising in low latency connections.
A report from Spain:- it has much better networking facilities than the UK
And finally thanks to Andy for the RAM and the advice that I need a ATX/midi
tower with a 400W psu to fit to the motherboard he gave me.
