When you create a database with MySQL it creates a directory with several files in it, however none of this has anything to do with php. If you want some php scripts to allow you to manipulate the database, download phpMyAdmin from http://phpwizard.net/projects/phpMyAdmin/ Cheers -- Phil Driscoll
