AFAIR, you have to edit /etc/conf.modules (modules.conf on some systems)
and include the lines
alias eth0 driver
(where driver is the name of the module, eg 'ne')
options driver io=0x??? irq=??
(best to use the dos disk that came with the card to get these
settings)
