Okay, so I upgraded my courier installation, and authdaemon stopped working.
I have no idea how to proceed:
/var/log/debug
Aug 24 11:14:38 mail imapd-ssl: LOGIN: DEBUG:
ip=[::ffff:212.18.246.140], username=email at random.com
Aug 24 11:14:38 mail imapd-ssl: authdaemon: starting client module
Aug 24 11:14:38 mail imapd-ssl: authdaemon: REJECT
Aug 24 11:14:43 mail imapd-ssl: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[::ffff:212.18.246.140]
Aug 24 11:14:43 mail imapd-ssl: LOGIN: DEBUG:
ip=[::ffff:212.18.246.140], comman
d=LOGOUT
Aug 24 11:14:43 mail imapd-ssl: LOGOUT, ip=[::ffff:212.18.246.140]
AFAICT, it's not aclling the authentication module at at all; when you
try from the command line:
mail:~# !cour
courierauthtest mail at random.com <password>
Trying authdaemon...
Authentication FAILED!
mail:~#
It's very fustrating; there's no way to increase the verbosity as far as
I know.
Any ideas?
Dan
