Has anyone any experience of using either Autopsy or Fatback?  After a cpu fan
failure I find that data on two vfat partitions has all been apparently lost,
but Autopsy shows them as being there but deleted.  It is frustrating to be
able to see them and not know how to recover them.  If you use the Export
facility it seems to write .raw files, and I don't know how to get them to be
readable by the original apps.  The main problems are spreadsheets (.xls)
and .jpg files.

I have joined the mailing list, but whether it is normally active or not, any
list that depends heavily on USA is not going to be very helpful right
now ;-)
