I was trying to install the stock Debian 2.4.27 kernel on my Knoppix 3.4
HD Install, and every time I boot into the Debian kernel, I get a kernel
panic just after 'BIOS DATA Read' but before the penguin icon. The
knoppix 2.4 or 2.6 kernels are both fine.
Any ideas? (I need to upgrade so I can install some ALSA drivers for by
i810 audio)
