[Wylug-help] Firefox profile

It appears that Firefox needs a profile to run but only likes the profile if it has RW access.

We would like all students and staff to get the same profile, i.e. users could not modify the profile. 

I've tried putting on a Read-Only network location and FF 'goes tits' as some technicians put it.

Anyone know how to make it read the profile but not store it at exit-time?
