[Wylug-help] OT: Conexant ADSL Routers

Hello all!

I'm setting up a Conexant ADSL router for somebody this weekend.

There will be a Linux box behind the router doing NAT and firewalling.

How do I set the router up so that the Linux box gets the public IP
address rather than the router itself?

Do I just enable Bridge mode in the router's web config thing? The
documentation seems to suggest that this won't work.

Do I need to request a block of (four) IP addresses so that the router
has one and the firewall has one?

TIA,

james
