Hi Emon,

I for one am an old guard Unix user who now uses gnome purely because it
is cleaner and is Free Software. It works on all of my hardware - Sun,
AMD and Intel and on my operating systems of choice Linux and Solaris.

Gnome is Free. All of it. On linux, unix or even obsolete OS's like
amiga OS and windows 2000.

KDE is not. Well the QT libraries anyway.

More information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qt_(toolkit)

Then KDE does have really good bluetooth support in Konqueror. And I
much prefer Konsole.
