Copied from my own grub.conf

title Fedora Core
        root (hd1,4)
        kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.2784.fc6 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet
        initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.18-1.2784.fc6.img

You just had a couple of letters missing in the initrd bit. Hope it works :)
