[Wylug-help] gnome panel rss reader?

hi James,

Liferea is a GNOME rss reader.  It isn't an applet but it minimizes into
the system tray, and can be configured to pop-up speech bubble things
telling you when feeds update.

It's pretty well polished and available as a package in Debian/Ubuntu.
