Howdy!
I sent a communique last week about installing Fedora on my computer and it spannering up the Windows stuff. Over the weekend I tried various other things but nothing works. I tried to run the 'fdisk' command to find out if the XP's still on there but hidden and it gave me an error message which was 'command not found' when I typed just 'fdisk' I got a list of commands with various switches but none of them worked. The USB light on the modem doestn't light which my ISP claims is because the USB drivers aren't installed properly and I can't get the XP disk to boot and re-intstall - when I put the disk in the machine and re-boot I get a message saying that configuration information is being collected and then the screen goes blank and nothing happens. At the moment I've got a machine with a semi functioning o/s and no internet connection which I need for various things as a matter of urgency, does anyone have any ideas?
Help!!!!!!!
