Yes. It really is very good. Three attempts is the default but you can
set your own limit. It will work across whichever ports and protocols
you set, too.

Being a techno-numpty, I find it an invaluable extra line of defence.
Especially when I spot things in the logs I wouldn't have known how to
deal with had I spotted them in a more timely manner. :)
