Digby,

There are two ways to install the Flash plugin on 64 bit Linux.

The first is to use nspluginwrapper to use the 32 bit plugin with your
64 bit browser.

The second is the use Adobe's pre-release 64 bit plugin.

I find the second way to be easier, 

wget
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/flashplayer10_2_p3_64bit_linux_111710.tar.gz
tar -xf flashplayer10_2_p3_64bit_linux_111710.tar.gz
su -c 'cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/'
