I tend to take the line that forcing reply-to breaks non-subscriber
posting, especially discussions crossposted to more than one list, and
is therefore very bad for 'working' development type lists. Lists that
are more social and run as closed lists don't suffer from those problems
because non-subscribers can't post anyway, and forcing the header helps
to keep discussions where everyone can chip in - there's rarely much
need to reply off list in this sort of context.

So - everybody's right, no flame war required :-)

One question - for users who already set reply-to (like GMail users),
will we be adding the list reply-to to theirs, or replacing the original
entirely?
