yep.  But my greylisting only delays emails by 10 minutes.  How long the 
server then waits to retry is outside my control.

 From the logs, his mailserver then waits 8 hours to retry, from a 
different IP address (so gets greylisted again), and then waits another 
8 hours before retrying from the original IP address, by which point the 
previous attempt has been expired from the cache.

I've bumped the lifetime of the retry cache to 24 hours, which ought to 
pick this up I guess.

Greylisting is certainly a hack, but it is extremely effective.  I've 
only had a couple of problems before, and those have always been down to 
unusually configured MTAs.
