[YLUG] Traffic Monitor

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if there is any "Traffic Monitoring" applet for the 
data up/down rates ?  Similar to the "Kinternet one" in SuSE  but 
works with broadband.

I can find plenty of packet sniffers and such,  like mrtg etc, but I 
don't need anything heavyweight or as detailed just to keep an eye on 
my connection.

I know that I can get time related logs from the router,  but that 
doesn't tell me if the traffic stopped for a few minutes, just the 
totals for a given period.
