[YLUG] Handling OOXML

Some of the pointy-haired ones at work have "upgraded" to the latest &
greatest MS office, complete with documents in unusable OOXML. Is there
anything in Linux that can read these (especially .xlsx spreadsheets)?
I've tried the latest 2.3 offical build of OpenOffice but even that
fails to recognise them.
