[YLUG] Why is this so much faster on an Opteron?

OK, here's a good question. Why is Alex's P4 soooo much faster than
the P4 I have here?

Alex could you post your /proc/cpuinfo perhaps?

Also does anyone have any idea wtf is going on? :P I'm using gcc (GCC)
4.1.2 (Ubuntu 4.1.2-0ubuntu4)
