With regards to train tickets it looks like it would
be cheapest to head out on the 15:58 which gets us
there for 17:24. Not sure what time people want to
come back at.
There are several options for the return:

20:42 - 22:08
21:12 - 22:38
21:42 - 23:12

The 15:58 fare is £7.50 (£4.75 with a young persons
pass). The return fare is £6 (£3.75 with a young
persons pass). So that's £13.50 or £8.50. These are
all advance tickets. If you want to get an open return
it'll be £21.50 or £14.20.

There is a 16.40 (arrives 18.05) train but it's £10 or
£6.60. My vote would probably be for the 15:58
returning at 21:12 or maybe the 21:42 if there's beer,
but I may just get an open day so I can come and go as
I please.
