I suspect that my machine requires pairs of matched sodimms (not 100% sure 
about that though), so I'd need to buy another one from somewhere else.

Does anyone know if there are likely to be problem mixing manufacturers or 
anything like that?  Assuming it's generally considered ok to mix things  
like this, I'm definitely interested.
