Hi

I am trying to install Remind and in particular the TkRemind GUI that
goes with it. See the man page at http://linux.die.net/man/1/tkremind.

I got Remind from the Ubuntu repository.

It says it needs Tcl.
I found and Installed the following packages:
tcl (8.4.16-1)
tcl8.4 (8.4.16-4ubuntu1)
tcllib (1.10-dfsg-2)
from the Ubuntu repository.

It also says it needs a "wish binary".
There is no "wish" in the repository.

I did "sudo apt-get install wish" and got

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package wish is a virtual package provided by:
  tk8.4 8.4.16-2ubuntu1.1
  tk8.5 8.5.0-3
  tk8.3 8.3.5-12ubuntu1
You should explicitly select one to install.
E: Package wish has no installation candidate

Now I'm stuck. Such is the life of a newbie.

Please can you give simple instructions to proceed?

Thank you
Nigel
Ubuntu 8.04
