Hi Arthur,

Thank for the piece of informatio, but still does not work.

I made:
openssl s_client -connect webvpn.york.ac.uk:443 -showcerts < /dev/null 2> 
/dev/null | openssl x509 -outform der > cert.der

to get the certificate, the:
  /usr/local/nc/ncsvc -h webvpn.york.ac.uk -u pd520 -f cert.der -r 
york_users_realm

Then give my password.
Says:
Connecting to webvpn.york.ac.uk : 443

then netstat -rn
Destination     Gateway         Genmask         Flags   MSS Window  irtt 
Iface
144.32.52.0     0.0.0.0         255.255.254.0   U         0 0          0 
eth0

I do not see any plit tunnel !!
  /etc/resolv.conf is not new (2009-06-27).
