Also, you could do what I've done and drop wireless entirely in favour of HomePlug. Solwise do 200mbit/sec adaptors (you generally get up to 80mbit - duplex - out of them) for a cheap cheap £40 or so each, and they're literally plug 'n play devices that just extend yopur ethernet network.
