[YLUG] Internet down on both Linux partitions, but okay on XP Pro

Could it be that your windows PC has a static IP set and your router has
stopped doing DHCP for some reason?
- Does linux detect your ethernet card (does it show up if you run
ifconfig)?
- Does it get an ip address if you run dhclient eth0 (assuming it's eth0 in
the ifconfig list)?
- If so, do the correct nameservers get set in /etc/resolv.conf?
- Can you resolve names correctly? Try pinging google.com and checking it a)
resolves to an ip address.

Hope some of this helps.
