Probably - and from your work history + graduation date, and in a bunch 
of other ways. They're just not allowed to ask - directly - how old you 
are or directly-related stuff like what date you were born.

I, personally, don't mind people knowing how old I am. That said, I 
suspect I've already been discriminated against as I was once turned 
down for the role I applied for as I was 'clearly too young to know all 
that stuff on my CV', was offered a junior post, took it, and was 
patronised and marginalised there-after. I'm very glad I (eventually) left.
     Lesson? If it talks like it's close-minded, and acts like it's 
close-minded, maybe it's good to know that before accepting the job 
offer.  ;-)
