To find programs with "who" in the title:
:> get_iplayer who

To Find out about the program and what modes are available:
:> get_iplayer -i <prog number>

To get the program you want with a specific mode:
:> get_iplayer -g <prog number>  --modes flashhd,flashvhigh

You can start mplayer as soon as the download as begun to check you are 
getting the right stream. "ls -ltr" will show you the latest filename to 
be added to your director (latest at bottom).

I'm so fed-up with flash not working properly that I have a simple 
script in my task bar that I can drop the url of the program on-to, and 
it starts downloading. A second click causes the latest download to 
start playing.
