So that is the problem well defined by Brian, thanks.

In terms of solutions, I think there is an opportunity to work with
the station to improve it, so it would be useful to approach them with
solutions.

As the website they currently use seems to be a simple Wordpress, much
of the problem defined by Brian can be solved within the current set
up.
In Wordpress, both Tags and Categories can have their own RSS feeds.

So one solution would mean:
1) Podcasts/Programmes would need to be tagged
2) Ensure tag RSS feeds are working.

This might not be the perfect 'end game' solution for podcasts, but
would I suggest, be a quick win while other options, or indeed a
migration to a new set up were taking place.

Am I right about RSS feeds on Wordpress tags and categories?
