[Bradford] Introduction :-)

Hi

Unity.
Earlier versions had too many minor issues that made it annoying to use
(I've only used it full time since 12.04), now most of that is ironed
its reasonable to use and is reasonably tweakable with the third party
tools such as Ubuntu Tweak and Unsettings (my preference).
I am still not as comfortable with it as I was with Gnome 2. But I did
configure Gnome 2 desktop to have a MS Window style layout and I do
still use Windows daily, so it may be an adjustment thing as I've only
used Unity seriously for 9 months.

When I get time I do want to have a go a configuring an XFCE environment
(app selection + config) to my liking and see how it compares to Unity.

Cheers, Nick
